5 Coffee-based Masks To Firm The Face

Although caffeine is a substance widely used in cosmetics because of the benefits it brings to the skin, the application of masks based on coffee does not help achieve the best benefits. If you want to take care of your skin properly, see a dermatologist.

Coffee is one of the most popular drinks in the world. It is consumed in different ways and is the favorite drink of many of us. Nevertheless, doctors insist that it is important to consume this drink in moderation, because coffee does not only bring benefits.

In aesthetics and cosmetics, it has been verified that the main alkaloid compound in coffee, caffeine, provides skin health benefits. It is therefore not surprising to see the presence of caffeine in the list of ingredients of certain products.

But be warned, just because caffeine promotes good skin health doesn’t mean that we can get caffeine in all cases and in all possible ways.

You are probably wondering why not use caffeine in its natural state since there are so many creams, soaps and lotions that use this ingredient … Or if it is possible to prepare masks with coffee in view to firm the face, for example?

The answer is yes, it is possible to make coffee based masks, but don’t expect incredible benefits in just one application. The best way to take proper care of your skin is to go to a dermatologist and follow their directions. It is also good to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

If you want to try coffee-based face masks out of curiosity, you need to consider your skin type and its needs, as different skin types don’t necessarily react the same. Coffee can, for example, irritate dry skin.
